Our fourth graders recently wrapped up an exciting lesson on the reproduction process of flowering plants. Intrigued by the steps involved, the young learners had the unique opportunity to dissect fresh lily plants in their classroom. They explored the inner workings of the flowers, identifying each part and uncovering the crucial roles they play in the magical dance of pollination and fertilization. This hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of plant reproduction but also allowed them to see their knowledge come to life!
