Our Grade 3 and 4 students became “Place Value Detectives” during an exciting mathematical mystery! With a crime scene set up at the entrance of Building B and base-ten blocks scattered as evidence, students worked in teams to solve riddles, eliminate suspects, and crack the case. This interactive activity strengthened their understanding of place value while developing reasoning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a fun and memorable way.
