Little Measurers at Work

Grade 1 students were actively engaged in measuring objects around the school using both standard tools (such as rulers and measuring tapes) and non-standard tools (such as cubes or paper clips). They explored different methods of measurement, compared their results, and discussed which tools provided more accurate outcomes and why. This hands-on activity supported their understanding of measurement concepts while fostering collaboration, curiosity, and critical mathematical thinking.
