An orientation session was conducted for Grade 9 and EB9 students, serving as an insightful introduction to the International Baccalaureate (IB) system soon to be implemented at LSQ. The session aimed to familiarize students with the principles and framework of the IB curriculum. Through an engaging presentation and an interactive discussion, students gained an understanding of the IB’s holistic approach to education, emphasizing critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and global citizenship. They explored the core components of the IB program, including the Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay, preparing them for the rigorous academic journey ahead. The session fostered excitement and enthusiasm among students, as they eagerly anticipated embracing the challenges and opportunities offered by the IB program at LSQ.
