In the early stages of elementary education, students in Grade 1 delved into the fundamental concepts of addition and subtraction fact families, whereas Grade 3 discussed multiplication and division fact families. To bring these mathematical concepts to life and enhance understanding, Grade 3 students embarked on a creative project of building a 3D house. By assigning dimensions based on chosen fact families, they not only reinforce their grasp of mathematical relationships but also explore geometric and spatial reasoning in a direct and hands-on way.
