The Ecology Club is a student-driven club, initiated by the English primary Department and Mrs. Nancy Bassil, to raise awareness about environmental issues and how to minimize the environmental damage as individuals, as a school community, and as citizens of the world. The club consists of 15 students, from Grades 5 and 6, who will be implementing the UN sustainable Development Goals through a variety of projects, such as creating a Vertical Garden, cleaning-up a beach, hosting a guest speaker from DEAP (Doha Environmental Actions Project), collaborating with a school in Austria on projects and many more.
