Our Grade 1 students stepped into the exciting world of research and reporting through the engaging project, “Curious Minds: Young Researchers and Reporters in Action.” With wide eyes and eager hearts, these young explorers journeyed into the depths of the jungle, not physically, but through books, videos, and guided research activities. Each student selected a jungle animal that captured their interest and curiosity. They worked collaboratively and independently to gather facts about their chosen animal’s habitat, diet, physical features, and unique behaviors. Using age-appropriate tools and resources, students transformed into little reporters, asking questions, taking notes, and organizing their findings. The project culminated in the creation of simple but informative reports that reflected their hard work and growing research skills. This experience not only enhanced their understanding of the animal kingdom but also developed their communication, critical thinking, and presentation abilities.
