When we hear the word camping, we always imagine a campfire, a tent, and roasted marshmallows. What about a reading camp? What should we expect? Yes, it’s true: books and lots of them!
From April 10 to April 14, the tents were set up, and the campfires were ignited to welcome our KG2 and GS students and their parents to their first camping experience at LSQ. Our little ones gathered around the campfires, read wonderful fairytales, played games such as charades, and listened to amazing stories told by their parents.
“Reading is important. If you know how to read, then the whole world opens up to you.” – Barack Obama
