Art Exhibition Week

“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking the rules, making mistakes, and having fun.” ~ Mary Lou Cook.

When it comes to creativity and innovation, we cannot but talk about the Art Exhibition Week, an annual event, where our French and English middle schoolers give free rein to their imaginations and collaborate to produce project-based learning outcomes related to discussed topics and themes. While our English-track students portrayed themes aligned with Qatar’s culture, such as Contemporary and Traditional Architecture of Qatar, Literature, and Contemporary Art in Qatar, our French students focused on “Les Exploratrices Célèbres,” for the EB7, the “Roman Policier” for the EB8, and highlighting the relationship between the youth and the digital world for the EB9.
