Qatar Debate

“Speech has power. Words do not fade. What starts out as a sound, ends in a deed.” -Abraham Joshua Herschel

Two teams of 3 of our G10, 11, ES2 and G12 girls each had the chance to use the power of words, diplomacy, public speaking skills and persuasive techniques to convince the judges and the audience of their points of view, in the 1st QSDL competition that took place on November 6, via Zoom, against Qatar’s local and international schools. The teams had prepared for this competition by researching their motions and writing their arguments, backing them up with evidence. The result is 3 wins out of 6! Congratulations to both teams!
