1. How would you describe your experience at LSQ?

My experience at LSQ was truly wonderful. I made amazing friends, including my best friends, and met people who became like family. The last two years were especially memorable because I spent them with people I had grown up with, forming a close-knit bond. We had incredible teachers who made the experience even more special, making those years the highlight of my time at LSQ.

2. How did LSQ prepare you for your current life after school?

LSQ taught me that nothing comes easy—that success requires hard work and dedication. I realized that to achieve my goals, I needed both perseverance and a supportive environment. There were times when I questioned why we had to do PowerPoint presentations or memorize so much, but looking back, those experiences helped me develop the discipline and skills that allowed me to excel in university.

3. What inspired you to write a short story collection specifically for younger readers?

What inspired me to write a short story collection was my creativity and my drive to try something new. My biggest inspiration came from my younger cousins, with whom I stayed for two months during the war. Living with them, spending every moment together, and teaching them new things made me realize how passionate I was about storytelling and sharing meaningful experiences.

4. Can you share a bit about the themes or messages in your stories and why you chose them?

I chose 12 short stories, each featuring an animal that conveys a valuable lesson for children. Animals naturally connect with kids, making the stories both entertaining and educational. This approach keeps children engaged while also appealing to parents who value meaningful lessons in storytelling.

5. What challenges did you face while writing for a younger audience, and how did you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges I faced while writing this book was ensuring the language was simple and accessible for a younger audience. To overcome this, I read children’s books, consulted with parents, and gathered feedback on my writing. Their insights gave me confidence that my book was both engaging and easy to understand
