We are genuinely the most loving, passionate, ambitious, generous, supportive, strong, and united people. We love life no matter how hard it is. Foreigners refer to us as the “happiest depressed people”, which is quite accurate since despite all the tragedies and challenges, we still smile with hope in our heart.
As a student at the Lebanese School of Qatar, and in her final academic year, I still have hope! I believe that our generations will free Lebanon from corruption and slavery, and we will rebuild it better than ever! So, to my dear country Lebanon, you are the land of eternal hope! You are my security and my inspiration! I hope I can make you as proud as you make me, and I promise to stay loyal to you until my last breath. No matter how far apart we are, you will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you my small heaven of 10,425 km2.
